Each campus will have spelling bees in individual classes starting
week of February 15, 2015 .
By
Thursday, February 26 each school will hold a school wide
competition for each grade and stream (9 and 10 – ATHS and STS).
The winners of the school competitions will meet for a
regional competition in the North (UAQ, AJM, FUJ, RAK, DXB) at Dubai, and in
the South (AIN, AUD, Delma, Al Gharbia,?) in Abu Dhabi on March 1st.
The winners of the Regional competitions will meet in Dubai
on March 11th for a System-Wide North vs. South spelling bee.
Awards would be given out at all levels and bragging rights would be
given to campuses for Regional and System-Wide champions. The trophy cups, plaques, and even banners will be displayed at the winning campuses.
